Biography

A northern sprint story shaped by weather, repetition and a precise approach to speed.

Early years

Norilsk taught consistency.

Vitaliy Brylev grew up in Norilsk, where training rarely depends on comfort. The city formed a practical athlete: patient, direct and ready to work when conditions are not ideal.

In his first races, coaches noticed his explosive first step, natural frequency and unusual attention to technical corrections. His advantage was not only power; it came from posture, rhythm and the ability to repeat details under pressure.

As he moved into senior sport, athletics became a full system: sleep, nutrition, recovery, strength work, race analysis and carefully controlled load.
